Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Java Developer with 2 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performing web applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, testable code and is eager to learn and adapt to new technologies within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code using Spring Boot.
• API Design: Build and consume RESTful web services and integrate backend functionalities with front-end interfaces.
• Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries and manage data persistence using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and system stability. Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and front-end developers to deliver robust software solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, maintain version control (Git), and adhere to standard software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Core Java: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas).
• Frameworks: Solid 2+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Web Technologies: Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data.
• Databases: Good working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Tools: Experience with build tools (Maven or Gradle) and version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Basic understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
