Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Data Migration & Extraction Specialist to design, develop, and execute large-scale data migration and extraction activities. The role involves working closely with business, database, and application teams to ensure accurate, secure, and timely migration of data from legacy systems to target platforms.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze source systems and understand data structures, relationships, and dependencies.

· Design and develop ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

· Perform data migration from legacy systems to new platforms (on-prem / cloud).

· Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction.

· Ensure data quality, integrity, validation, and reconciliation post-migration.

· Handle incremental and full data loads with proper logging and error handling.

· Collaborate with application, QA, and business teams during migration cycles.

· Prepare migration run-books, technical documentation, and status reports.

· Identify and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and migration failures.

· Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Required Technical Skills

· Strong experience in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or similar).

· Excellent knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL / T-SQL.

· Hands-on experience with data migration and extraction projects.

· Experience with RDBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

· Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

· Putty Data Uploading

· Experience in handling large data volumes and performance tuning.

· Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting (preferred).

· Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Domain Experience (Preferred)

Pay: ₹400,000.15 - ₹1,351,514.71 per year
