Job Description: Associate Manager – Depository Ops & Compliance
Key Responsibilities
1. Depository Operations Management
· Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of depository activities, including Demat/Remat requests, pledged/unpledged instructions, and transmission of shares.
· Manage the Settlement process for pay-in and pay-out of securities, ensuring zero errors in client collateral or pool accounts.
· Reconcile depository holdings with back-office records on a daily basis.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
· Act as the primary point of contact for depository audits (NSDL/CDSL/SEBI).
· Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings, including Monthly/Quarterly Compliance Reports and Surveillance alerts.
· Monitor and implement changes in SEBI circulars and Depository guidelines to ensure the firm’s systems and processes remain compliant.
3. Risk Management & Grievance Redressal
· Mitigate operational risk by maintaining strict control over Power of Attorney (PoA) and DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction) usage.
· Address and resolve client queries and grievances related to depository services within the stipulated SCORES or exchange timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Law. An MBA or CS (Company Secretary) qualification is a significant plus.
· Certifications: Mandatory NISM Series VI (Depository Operations)
· Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of depository software (e.g., DPM, CDAS) and back-office ERPs.
· Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data handling—because in operations, a misplaced decimal can lead to a massive regulatory headache.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
