Pros

Brand name free food NPS amount on top of CTC

Cons

Do not think BGSW is product based org and never trapped with Bosch brand name. BGSW is a pure service based org. having very dull projects. No transparency on any policy even HR don't have clarity on their policies. South Indian Monopoly (90% are from South India), All old peoples are shifted to Bosch internal projects, having good benefits as compare to external projects. Very bad and few projects in SAP (mostly ECC support project and also clients are Japanese and Indian which sucks your life) You can not take benefit of any employee welfare policy like Leaves, festival holidays, flexible work timing etc. if your are in SAP global projects (external projects) Very Bad administrative support from IT, HR ,Finance department for any of your query, You can not expect any response from these people for your queries, even after raising the ticket you can not expect to get response before 15-20 days. Policies like - medical insurance, shift allowance, cab facility etc. are very poor as compared to any other IT service based org, even the Indian IT companies have good and transparent policies as compared to Bosch. Bosch is not providing shift allowance even if you work in shifts. They are saying due low budget of project you have to support. In some projects you have to work on Saturdays (6 days working) without comp off.

Pros

Surprisingly Efficient and Seamless Recruitment Procedure

Cons

I graduated in 2023 from a tier 2 college, ranking among the top 2 percentile in the campus. BGSW conducted early recruitment in August 2022, ahead of other companies, and during the Pre-Placement Talk, they assured both internship and Full-Time Employment (FTE) opportunities. The interview process was surprisingly smooth, but later, long after other companies had completed their hiring processes, BGSW informed us that internships would not be offered, and they planned to expedite the onboarding process. Despite organizing regular 30-minute sessions for 400-500 new hires, the company consistently conveyed that onboarding would not happen anytime soon. It's been over 15 months since the hiring process, and none of the 2023 graduates from my university have been onboarded. When inquired about the delay, the management attributed it to "Covid," expressing uncertainty about completing onboarding even by July 2024. Upon persistent questioning, they diplomatically stated that "The entire hiring process is not a guarantee of a job; it's just a procedure to determine eligibility." As a final-year student, I was unaware of this, and like many other colleges in India, I wasn't allowed to apply for subsequent companies. Despite possessing all the necessary skills as a top 2 percent graduate, I find myself impacted by someone else's incompetence to accurately assess the actual business need for freshers, exacerbated by the current economic recession. Ironically, BGSW has revisited the campus to hire 2024 graduate for the same role.

Pros

It's good only if you are nearing your retirement. Good campus. Food

Cons

HR policies in India are worst with least benefits and hikes. Learning on job is close to nothing. Extremely slow career growth with peanut hikes. Obselete tech stack in majority projects. Extreme micro management at org level especially in India. Roles are not what they promise initially during interview. Bad project level decisions. The once glorified job security is now a myth. Your resume will die with 3 months notice. It has become just another service company that advertises itself as product company. It's essentially a unit of hardware company that is trying to become a 'cool' software company that simply isn't working out. Strict office timings. Flexibility lost post pandemic.
