Earlier to 2023 it was one of the best banking companies in terms of pay and professionalism.
Cons
Beginning before NAB and CBA poached all the good people and leaders. ANZ was left with inexperienced and novice leaders and also lot of outside who ran 24/7 sweatshops or call centre's came in as so called "Leaders and Managers" and they started creating a toxic and stressful environment for most of the people. Only people who Suck up to them were rewarded and people who just came to be professional and take home some bread also had to face the brunt of such loser leaders. It's now a hell hole of stress and pressure and most of my former colleagues still call and aka if I can find them a better place even if there is less pay they are willing to sacrifice a bit of money for peace of mind. ANZ lacks True Leaders.
