Exposure to aviation domain but limited long-term stability
Pros
The salary compensation was reasonable compared to market standards, and there were opportunities to work on aviation-domain projects and client-facing engagements. Some teams had skilled professionals and exposure to enterprise-level systems through clients like SITA.
Cons
During my time as a Tech Lead, the organization lacked a clear long-term vision for newly hired talent. Role changes and project allocations often felt random, with limited clarity on career progression or technical direction. The company was heavily dependent on projects from SITA and the aviation industry, which made internal stability highly client-dependent. Frequent client-driven project revisions and financial constraints caused multiple projects to be paused or put on hold. This resulted in extended bench periods for employees and eventually led to team-wide workforce reductions. There also appeared to be a trend of replacing experienced employees in higher salary brackets with junior resources to reduce costs, which negatively impacted morale and job security.
