We have launched a unique underarm cricket tournament in Chennai at SIPCOT as part of Re-Joys – The Return of Joyous Days. More than 800 colleagues (80 teams) registered and prepped to win the trophy. The tournament was inaugurated by Geetanjali Suraj, VP, Engineering Leader, NEP A&A, Capgemini Engineering, Amar Shetty B R, VP, Global Head Learning & Development, Financial Services SBU, Ashwin RaghunathaChari, VP, Global Insurance, Capgemini, India, Dhinakar Selwyn, VP, Global Head - Core Technologies: ADM & Revitalization Practice, and Suman Jambunathan, VP, Global Delivery Partner, Financial Services, CE BU. While Capgemini Super Kings (CSK) and Synchrony (CSS) reached the final of the CBC Tournament, the champion of the CBC 2022 was Team Synchrony CSS. Empowering the socially excluded and marginalized communities with the tools they need to succeed is an integral part of our commitment to bridging the digital divide. Over the last six months, our IT team donated 1000+ computer systems to various NGOs and institutes working for underprivileged children and women across India. By the end of this year, we intend to give away another 3000-4000 systems. We thank our colleagues in our Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, NCR, Hyderabad, and Kolkata campuses for making the donation drive possible in each city. To commemorate Serge Kampf's legacy, our Client Engagement Experience team commissioned the work of carving his portrait out of e-waste to the celebrated Kolkata-based artist, Sanatan Dinda. It now adorns the walls of the newly opened Client Experience Center in Kolkata and stands as the spatial highlight on the campus.
