[US-based] Looking for transparent compensation comparison. This image was floated around in the past. Full comp info for Bain and BCG. Questions: McKinsey & Company are you in-line? Bain & Company NAP seems to put you way over BCG at senior levels. Is this accurate? Does it get fully funded? Then Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group what % of people get this bonus? And % more? How much more? Apologies if asking too much, but this helps everyone push their firms.
Hey all! In the fortunate position to decide between McK and BCG offers (US South office), as an experienced hire coming in at the MBA level. Any thoughts on which to go with?
Hello, I'm into tech but I want to transition to consulting. Can anyone guide me on how to go about it
Hey all. Sorry for the weird question. I was interviewing for a role with BCG in Africa several years back but cut the process short due to personal circumstances. Fast forward to today, I received an automated email that I was rejected 😂 The main concern I have is that I may be interviewing for another BCG role in the U.S. in the coming months, and am concerned it’ll flag me as ineligible. Should this be an issue?
Anyone here who has lateraled from McK to BCG (or lateraled to McK) and can speak to differences? I’m considering it; my ingoing assumption is that it’s more similar than different, but would be good to understand key differences
As someone who doesn’t love the dominant work of my office and who has done most of my casework with out-of-system teams, I’m finding it a painfully uphill climb despite a long record of strong performance
I asked that a few weeks ago. General feedback was not so much to PL. The new staffing model may end up forcing more local staffing. Will be interesting to see.
Much different for me, I always worked outside. I’m known as the one that does something nobody in the office does and brings new revenue streams, if then with time you are able to staff your team and you put local folks in your foreign project…CDCs are just a nice check in
I made PL never working on a home office project, but when there was a market turndown all of the practice PLs not protected by MDPs in their home offices got transitioned. Now I’m at another firm.
