Elite tweet from ALDI lol. How do you think their leadership felt about that? Is any impression a good impression?

I’ve been applying for jobs & not getting even an interview because everyone says I’m overqualified - almost 50 woman with 27 years. I’m trying to convey my experience in my resume for breadth and so the job I’m applying for can ride my coattails based on my experience and trying to convey in the cover letter what I can bring to the position in the short and long term. I’ve been using the unpaid Ai (yes, I’m cheap), but I’m ready to invest the money & pay for one. Which one do you recommend ?
I left a brutally honest, anonymous review on Glassdoor about my toxic ex-agency, and the CEO just sent me a passive-aggressive message on LinkedIn saying the industry is small. He didn't explicitly accuse me, but the timing is highly suspicious. I only stated facts about the 70-hour weeks and the verbal abuse, but now I’m regretting trying to warn other job seekers. Is it ever actually safe to leave an honest review?
I am expected to travel to our annual user conference next weekend, work 14-hour days managing the registration booth and making content, and I’m getting zero extra comp time for it. Leadership treats it like a fun team-building perk because they provide free pizza and a branded t-shirt, completely ignoring the fact that I’m giving up my entire weekend. Do you guys demand extra PTO when a job eats your weekend, or do you just take the hit?
I am officially begging my team to stop putting “it's giving” and “no cap” into the copy for our 50+ B2B logistics audience. Our 22-year-old coordinator thinks it makes the brand look human and fresh. I love the energy, but there is a massive difference between being culturally relevant and being deeply cringe. How do you coach junior copywriters on finding a tone that matches the persona rather than their own TikTok feed?
Would you tell your manager you're burnt out even if you know they can't do anything about it, or suck it up?
I don’t think this hurts brands personally, unless it’s a serious company like a defense contractor or something lol. Otherwise I think this is very fun!
Aldi have a very tongue in cheek style on their social platforms, particularly around competitors, so it totally fits with their branding 🤷♀️
Have they always done this?! This is the first I’ve seen!
If you need leadership to weigh in on tweets, you need to stop tweeting.
Honestly very true lol. I just imagine they wouldn’t be thrilled, but probably will never see it!
I think that is funny.
