I work in Sg. The manager tends to overreact when issues happen, which makes the team feel uncomfortable approaching her. If we don’t approach her, she is unhappy, but if we do, we often get scolded regardless of the issue. She focuses more on mistakes than overall good work and repeatedly points them out in a way that feels discouraging rather than constructive. Make she is the best. Still got no choice but just to endure. Is it common issue in most of workplace?

Yes, I hear of this sometimes. Best thing to do is for your team to speak to the manager about it. If you are uncomfortable, approach the HR team and share with them so that they can give the manager an anonymous feedback. For me, I have had my reporting managers like this before & all you can do is either feedback to them about it or be thick skin enough to endure the scolding. Draw a line - she is overreacting about the work itself and not you as a person. If you really can’t and all else fails, then look for a new job. I rather you find a place where you’re satisfied at.
