Astellas Manager interview questions

Got contacted for a screening phone round- sounded like someone was reading from a script. Then got a round scheduled with the hiring manager. He was in a rush, couldn’t understand how I could’ve been performing two different kinds of responsibilities (different companies can have different org structures), gave me no clarity on the timelines or the next steps. Seems like he had already made up his mind. When I reached out to the HR after more than a week no response, then got an automated mail of rejection few days later. Not a great way to deal with a candidate especially considering how different other companies have been in terms of clarity and communication.

phone interview with HR and then hiring manager. then onsite interview with relevant people including other team members. Took a whole day. Also gave a seminar related to my previous research
