      Hardware Test Intern Interview

      Feb 6, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Rancho San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Broadcom (Rancho San Diego, CA) in Apr 2013

      Interview

A phone interview basically talked about your background on your resume and some simple technical questions. Then an on-site interview followed one week later. And no tricky questions were asked. For this position, only basic digital and analog circuit will be asked and simple programming questions, but it requires some lab skills. Broadcom hiring process is very formal and HRs are helpful. They will inquire you and answer your questions with email.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

No difficult questions at all: what's the use of pull-up resistor? Do you know how to see a schematic... What's your solution when a chip does not work? ...
