I was approached by a recruiter about the position and had a phone call with him to qualify. Unfortunately, the gentleman had a very thick Irish accent, making it really difficult to understand him, and I had to turn the volume up to the maximum. Then I had two interviews with the hiring manager because he couldn't figure out how to work Webex during the first attempt. After that, I was accelerated to a panel interview, which felt a bit strange. However, they sent me the wrong brief, which belonged to another applicant obviously at Workday, including their email and contact details! Eventually, I received my own brief, but it was basic and unimpressive, with the usual 30, 60, 90-day plan. During the panel interview, there were about 5 people present, and the most senior member was 15 minutes late. The questions asked were already answered on my CV, and the whole experience was underwhelming. Given the company's current financial viability, one would expect more effort to convince potential candidates to join. However, I left the panel interview with the feeling that this company is in more trouble than they admit, and they seem to have limited ideas about the changes needed to ensure their future viability. In the end, I decided not to proceed with the position.
