I applied online. I interviewed at Equi in Sep 2025
Interview
Initial HR screening felt excessive and unstructured, with questions such as listing 8 strengths and 3 weaknesses. Another question required giving a numeric score supposedly from a past manager—something unrealistic since most workplaces don’t use such systems, making the answer meaningless and subjective.
The call was rigid and script-driven, with no flexibility or chance to ask questions. Overall, it came across more like a one-way interrogation than a professional dialogue.
Impression: Unprofessional and inflexible interview style, more like reading from a checklist than actually understanding a candidate’s background. Left a poor impression of the company’s hiring process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Equi in Dec 2022
Interview
A little long: questionnaire, a couple phone calls, followed by a pretty quick solo code portion and final interview with their engineers. Even if it's a little long I can respect the effort to find a good fit.
