I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GE (San Ramon, CA)
Interview
Overall not encouraging. Recruiter called few times gathering same details. After few weeks of back and forth communication, phone screening was scheduled. Interviewer started asking system design questions borrowed from a book. When he was not satisfied with explanation, wrapped up the call.

Question 1
Design Parking Lot. This was asked in phone screening. Few weeks later I learnt, this problem is from one of interview preparation books. Seriously..! Can't they come up with any realistic questions based on candidate's experience, rather than borrowing questions from a book.
Had 3 interviews: one with the hiring manager, one with the direct manager and one with the HR. The technical interview was held mainly by the direct manager. The hiring manager assessed my teamwork skillset and previous experience delivering large scale projects.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GE (Bengaluru) in Aug 2024
Interview
I had been interviewed with GE healthcare, 1st round was good, guy who took interview was nice and knowledgeable. But 2nd round was pathetic.
The guy who took interview for 2nd round does not know what is time complexity used for algorithms. He asked me to write program on Rotate array and i have written best solution as per time complexity O(n) but he was saying not acceptable even though it is working and told me could have written better solution. May be he is lacking time and space complexity concepts.
