I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Impetus Technologies (Indore)
Interview
The interview process consisted of two back-to-back technical rounds. Both rounds focused heavily on Data Structures and Algorithms, with medium to advanced questions, especially on string manipulation and graph-based problems. The interviewers also asked several questions on core Java concepts, including Object-Oriented Programming, multithreading, and the Collection Framework.
In addition, I was asked to explain my project in detail, including its ER diagram and database schema design. There were also questions about version-specific updates in Java and a few basic concepts of Spring Boot to evaluate my understanding of backend development.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Impetus Technologies (Noida) in Feb 2026
Interview
I went through a total of four rounds in the selection process—three technical interviews followed by an online assessment. Unfortunately, I was not able to clear the third technical round, but the overall experience was quite insightful and helped me understand my strengths and areas for improvement.
The first technical interview was focused on coding skills. I was asked to solve problems that tested my problem-solving ability, logic building, and familiarity with programming concepts. I performed well in this round and was able to approach the questions confidently.
The second interview was more centered around my resume. The discussion revolved around my projects, technical skills, and past experiences. I was able to clearly explain my work, justify my choices, and demonstrate my understanding, which made this round go smoothly.
However, the third interview was significantly more challenging. It was designed to deeply evaluate my core knowledge of computer science, including Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and fundamental concepts. The questions required not only theoretical understanding but also the ability to apply concepts in different scenarios. This round highlighted gaps in my depth of knowledge, and I was not able to meet the expectations.
Overall, while I did not make it through the final stages, the process was a valuable learning experience. It gave me a clear idea of the level of preparation required, especially in core subjects, and motivated me to strengthen my fundamentals for future opportunities.
