This was a highly intensive interview process with multiple rounds for a job that pays only $15 per hour. I initially met with two interviewers who were doing this “good cop/bad co” bit. One was kind and was the main one asking questions. The other was basically silent the whole time making sour faces, glaring and narrowing her eyes. Practically the only time she piped up was to assure me very sternly (while pay was being discussed) that there is no guarantee of a pay raise, even after a year of working for them. I passed that interview and the next round, but didn’t end up getting the job. I went on to something better with much better pay, and I’m glad I dodged this bullet. They require you to jump through this many hoops in order to maintain the illusion that this is a desirable company to work for. Consider Sour Face’s attitude a warning sign of how they treat their employees. Expect to be glared and scoffed at a lot for no reason and to not get a pay increase. Thanks, Sour Face, for the warning to run far away from this mess.
