      Sales Development Representative (SDR) Interview

      Apr 17, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Seismic

      Interview

Typical recruiter screen in the beginning but then very hectic and weirdly chaotic 3-round hiring manager interview where you had 45 minutes to speak to 3 hiring managers for 15 minutes each. Had no time to communicate what set me apart in such a short time. It was awkward with the next hiring manager joining on the Zoom call while I was in the middle of saying something. They told me to expect a round with a single hiring manager, so it was misleading.

      Interview

I first had a brief phone interview with the Talent Acquisition team, which was a quick and straightforward conversation. This was followed by a more in-depth and pleasant discussion with the hiring manager. However, after the interview, I did not receive any updates. I followed up with the Talent Acquisition team, and they initially responded that I should expect an update the following week. Despite sending an additional follow-up email to check on the status, I never received any further communication.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Seismic in Feb 2024

      Interview

The process was straight forward and very casual. You have to come prepared of course, but every step was very conversational and interviewers were transparent throughout the entire process. Great company!!
