I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sonata Software (Bengaluru) in Jul 2025
Interview
I recently interviewed for a Senior Software Developer position. The initial technical round went well, and I was informed that I had cleared it. However, the process following that was quite unorganized.
Before the client interview, I was asked to attend an internal call which seemed unnecessary and more of a formality. What was disappointing was the expectation that I should modify my resume specifically to match the client's preferences, and prepare separately for the client interview on short notice. As a working professional, I found it unreasonable to be asked to invest significant time updating documents and preparing for a role that was not clearly defined from the start.
There was a lack of clarity and too much back-and-forth, which made the overall experience frustrating. A more streamlined and transparent process would be appreciated, especially for experienced candidates.

Just a heads-up — you're honestly wasting your time with this company's offer process.
They changed their verbal offer three times, and in the end, didn’t even bother to share a formal offer letter.
They expect you to accept whatever they say verbally and show up on the joining date without any documentation.
There’s no written communication, and they’ll keep you hanging until the very last moment.
Totally disappointing experience — felt like a complete waste of time.
Would strongly advise caution.
The process feels **unreliable and borderline unethical.**
