UBS Assistant Director interview questions

I was interviewed at Mumbai location. I was told that it will be a one day process with a technical & managerial round followed by HR discussion. The first round was extremely easy and I could answer all the questions and I was told by the interviewer that I need to wait for the next round which will be taken by the person sitting in the next room. After waiting for 2.5 hrs the HR came and told us to leave and that the feedback will be communicated shortly. After multiple follow-ups through the consultancy , weeks later I was told that the feedback is negative which was quite unexpected after the interviewer telling that I will have another round. A very disappointing experience and waste of time.
