Usually over zoom or the phone to start. It is usually with the MM and MHRM. Starts with some small chit-chat and then are usually asked some questions about the store you are applying for, so knowing their numbers and other information is critical. Then the formulaic questions would start, and these are based on the assessment you took. There is a report that generates that won't be sent to you, but that the interviewer's have and you can request afterwards. After that, kind of wrap-up. Make sure you have questions prepared, and not the stereotypical questions, something unique. If you make it past that, then you usually have to do an in-person interview and do a "mock" store-tour. This can be done in several ways. You tour with the Market Team as if you were the SM of that store. The store you are touring isn't always the store you signed up for. It is split into areas of the store and you have a total amount of time, but you can spend however long you want in an area, as long as you don't go past the total time. Everything you do during this time is monitored and notated. Did you greet every customer? Did you pick that wipe up off the floor or just walk by it? Things like that. While you are touring, the Market Team may have questions. You'll wrap-up at the end, they'll ask your thoughts, and then part-ways. Be honest with them with your thoughts. Sometimes they keep you there and you move to the next step right away. Sometimes they have other people to finish and they release you. In my Region, you no longer have to interview with the Regional Team. Nor do you do a 30/60/90 day place. Your Market Leadership will put some information together for the Regional Team and send you up as their choice. If you are that point, it's pretty much a done deal.
