Mission Our mission is to attain the lowest cost so that everyone can fly with AirAsia and maintain the highest quality product, embracing technology to reduce cost and enhance service levels.
Description AirAsia: a travel tech company We connect people and places through 293 routes across Asia and the Pacific with operations and offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India and Japan. Our people, whom we call Allstars, come from more than 60 nationalities.
TALKIN' ABOUT A REVOLUTION In 2001, we sparked a travel revolution in Asia with our no-frills, hassle-free, low-fare offerings and personalised services for our guests. Since then, more than half a billion people have flown with us. We fly to 130 destinations in China, India, Japan, South-East Asia, Australia and the United States. We operate 1,300 flights a day through a fleet of 240 aircraft.
LOW-COST DISRUPTOR Our operations are lean, simple and efficient without compromising safety. We innovated the use in Asia of a single aircraft type; high aircraft utilisation; no-frills; and a point-to-point network. As a result, we've managed to operate at the lowest cost of any airline in the world.
TRAVEL TECH Innovative use of technology has played a big role in our success. Our digital strategy is to reduce costs further, drive revenue higher and make AirAsia a truly fun place to work. Our vision is of frictionless travel by capitalising on data and technology, our expansive network and, importantly, our people. We call this AirAsia 3.0.
PEOPLE FIRST We are always grateful for the love and support of our guests and Allstars as we aim to be the preferred airline of Asia and beyond and employer of choice. And in 2019, we were delighted to win Skytrax's best low-cost airline award for an unprecedented 11th year in a row. Thank you to all.
