Biocon Biologics today spans 100+ countries and is headquartered in Bangalore, India, which is where our roots began 45 years ago, when Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw side-stepped tradition to become India’s first female brew-master (pursuing it as a career in biotechnology), and then set up a factory against the odds to manufacture high-quality enzymes for global export.
Everyday since then we have and continue to immensely improve the lives of patients who live with cancer, diabetes, and auto-immune disease across the world, giving them equitable access to the right healthcare.
