      ASIAN PAINTS HOME SOLUTION (2007-2011) Designation : SALES ASSOCIATE My responsibilities included: • Meeting the customers and making them aware of the services of Asian Paints • Achieving the sales by commencing the painting contract with the customers • Achieving the sales target • Involving the customer in the action plan. • Maintaining a good relationship with the customers • Making leads by meeting dealers, architects and also through sales promotion activities(kiosk ) • Giving color consultancy services to the customers.

      Values,Integrity, Mostly fair evaluation of people, focus on medium to long term and not a month driven company, good growth opportunities for people joining at officer level and performing.

      Cons

      Pressure / no. of things to drive has increased drastically over last 2 years in sales - impacting quality/enjoyment of work and sense of achievement. Growth and compensation at m5 and above levels not competitive with market.

      Pays decently well compared to paint industry.

      Cons

      The company is on the downfall. Attrition is high. Promotions are very slow. Processes are too lengthy and absurd. Unrealistic expectations from brands and sales team. No work life balance. Bosses do not provide leaves. Pathetic working culture. U will get confused as to what your role is even after working for years. Transfers are awful. I am voicing this on behalf of all employees in the company.
