Pros

Location is good I got good team mates

Cons

By seeing the overall rating in glassdoor I am shocked. As when I joined the rating was poor. So now I am understanding why Techjini was recruiting so many HR and what they are doing actually. But here I'll try to share my actual experience and feelings what I got when I was in Techjini(TJ). Work pressure / Work Culture: Being in IT industry we all know about the work pressure. In TJ you will get some extra level of pressure as maximum projects are for 1.5-2 months only. Most of the developers are freshers. They mostly work till mid night 2-3 AM (So freshers be careful. If you don't have any other options then only join). I have even seen experienced developers sitting in their place while leaving office at 9PM and sitting at the same place the next day at 9AM. Only couple of projects are there which are running from long time. There the condition might be better. Coming to the estimation part, all genius people will give the estimation. The estimation is so bad that from the day one you will be under pressure. For similar type of task in my previous company if we got 8 hours, here we get 2 hours. Now you can feel the pressure. From my own experience, for some task I got couple of hours. I did not know how to do this, so as per managers suggestion I approached the team of genius and asked then how to do it, as they have done some POC (In TJ I have not seen any complete POC. All are half done). Then they asked for some time to check and they took almost a week to suggest a proper the solution. That also they will ask you for R&D. But I got only couple of hours to complete the task. Now, from where I will be able to manage this extra time? You have to manage, so work late night and weekends and as mentioned earlier, no comp-off as you were not able to complete your assigned task. Policy: There is no policy for lady employee. If it is there also nobody follows. Lady employees are working late and how they will return, that is not company's responsibility. If you are going home also on time, then they will force you to work from home. So you should not have any personal life. In most of the projects you have to work on weekends and don't expect any comp-off for that as you were not able to finish the task on time and so you are working on weekends. Technology: TJ is working with many latest technologies. Now every one has their own future goal setup. But forget that, because your goal should match with company's goal as well. If you are a backend person, then they will give you frontend work. You should be ready to work on any technology like a geek without taking extra time, as you will be introduced to client as an experienced person. Leave: If you apply for leave means you are doing some sin. Getting approval of my own paid leave is so difficult. In between project, managers are not ready to approve any leave though you are informing well in advance. When the project is over then only you can get approved leave. Now how you will book your ticket and all? This your headache. So people prefer to take sick leave if short leave require and for 1 week leave pray to GOD or run and beg to managers or be ready for LOP. P.S: If you are still lucky enough & taking leave then your manager might ask you to compensate that by working on weekends. Innovation Team: This company has team of Technical Avengers named as "Innovation team". What they are supposed to do? If there are any technical challenges in any project, they are supposed to help. In case any blocker is there, the manager will ask to contact that team. What you will get? Some URLs, which you might have already checked. Even the freshers know what they do & don't want to approach them.

Pros

1. Easy to get selected in interview 2. If you are early joiner you will easily get selected

Cons

1. Company deducts PF from employee's salary 2. Bus service is very bad. Not much frequency 3. They have shortage of space. No space to park your vehicles. 4. Shortage of space even for departments....30 people sit next to each other in row fashion without cubicle system. I simply hate this type of sitting arrangement as during calls with client, others also get disturbed. If you are peace loving person you won't like it.. and everyone talks loudly to someone sitting in next row 5. Admin department is not soo good 6. Employee portal is down most of the time 7. They don't have their own proper canteen. The common canteen in SEEPZ is worst. 8. Managers and people are not professional enough. 9. Work life balance is major drawback. only half an hour of lunch break 10. While entering office or going out you will have to swipe card and also scan finger (BOTH ! ) 11. Strict timesheet rules.. you have to get it approved in 3 days.. etc ... Overall, I WONT recomment.

Pros

It's been 4 years and I'm still trying to find a pro

Cons

The lousiest management team I have ever seen and worked with. A 40 year old company with a revenue of ~$20mn. Are you kidding? Run like a complete joint family, you have to spend your hours and days trying to fit in and play nice to everyone. Favoritism to the point of blindness to reality. There are people on the management team will go to any lengths to keep their job, even destroy other's career if necessary. This is one company that is stuck in time, refusing to get a grip on reality. I consider Datamatics my biggest career mistake and have painful memories of my tenure there.
