Pros

I have been with DF for over 10 years now. I joined as a fresher/consultant, and honestly, I never expected that journey to shape me this much both professionally and personally. One thing I genuinely appreciate about DF is that it has never been an organization obsessed with titles or hierarchy. Very early in my career, probably within the first 6 months, I was trusted with responsibilities far beyond what my designation said on paper. Once you prove your capability, people notice, and you are given opportunities to grow. Skills and ownership are valued here far more than name tags. Over the years, there have been management changes, strategic shifts, and difficult phases like any long-standing organization goes through. But even during uncertain times, communication was usually transparent, and the larger focus remained on preparing employees for the future rather than just reacting to the present. Looking back now, I can also see the impact DF has had on people who moved on to other organizations. Many former DF employees adapt faster, take ownership more naturally, and handle pressure better than others with similar experience levels. That says a lot about the kind of learning environment and exposure the company provides. No organization is perfect, but DF gave me opportunities, trust, and growth much earlier than I expected in my career, and that is something I will always value.

Cons

The last few years has definitely felt uncertain at times, though much of that has been due to market conditions rather than company-specific decisions. It has been a period of adjustment for both employees and leadership.

Pros

Transitioning from a mechanical background into IT can be daunting, but my experience here has been remarkably frictionless. I am incredibly grateful for the management-level advocacy that paved the way for my internship and rapid growth. Having direct support from the management team ensured that I never had to navigate the typical "growing pains". The management team excels at removing obstacles for their preferred talent. Throughout my projects, I was empowered to focus on high-level stakeholder visibility while the management strategically brought in external consultants to handle my work. The support didn't stop at project delivery; management consistently ensured that my professional record remained spotless, providing a protective buffer that allowed me to focus on my "leadership" trajectory while the broader team managed the technical debt and tactical accountabilities.

Cons

While the management is excellent at protecting their key talent from project setbacks, this can occasionally create a high-pressure environment for the broader team.
