Pros

No Pros other than every genral IT MNC.

Cons

Kyndryl comprises of worst part of IBM. The Parts which IBM needed to throw away to stop them from bleeding into obscurity. There's no growth, there's no innovation. This company has no vision, no ambition and no future. This company is ruled by incompetent Mangers with most of them in early 40s and none of them having any insight in management. This utter lack of incompetent mangers is amplified by senior employees who are treated as royalty.

There are no hike, no reviews, no exit interview, no Human Resources.
You'll have to beg for Paid Leaves, The Mangers are skilled at avoding discussions in PLs. The base salary of employees is extremely low compared to market Standards, shift allowances are lower than day labourer.

In general an employee is married to his company, here at kyndryl you are married to Projects. Employees have been in one single projects for more than 5 years, there no way a person can switch to a new Project. Only way a employee can leave a Project is via Resignation.

This company is sweat shop of personal assistant who know some tech. Most of the kyndryl projects are legacy projects, to the point where official support for the products have ended years ago.

If you are young fresher, do not join this company. If you are comfortable with your salary and don’t want to put any extra efforts welcome to your heaven “Kyndryl”

Pros

Remote work, vacation, coworkers are usually pretty chill, 3 months on the bench to look for a new job before you're laid off

Cons

10-11K planned to be laid off this year and they aren't going after the worst performers, they're just cutting out whatever section looks good in excel. Poor profitability. Constant reorgs. Say they're a flat organization but keep getting more and more vertical. the last manager I got transferred to took months to have a meeting with my group and when he did, it was only to let us know we were getting cut, never-mind that we had a presentation on how to save a couple million on a type of software license that the company had to have to do business. They still use a stacked ranking for employee review, so if your whole team had an outstanding year and surpassed every goal, only 5-10% will be graded as outstanding and 10-15% will get expects more. Even when I got into that 5-10% exceeds, the raise for that year was still only 2%. One year I got a promotion from band 4 to 5, still only a 2% raise. Your pay will be as flat as a plains state. After 15+ years in this company, it feels like leaving an abusive relationship. Yes, it's not all bad, but you have to recognize that it still wasn't good for you.
