Pros

I was placed in OMICS International (Conference Division) from my university. The company is into organizing international scientific conferences. The basic work which one has to after being assigned an event is prepare the conference website, write content, keywords, and then start inviting dignitaries via email. After you receive positive response, follow up and get there registration done. Omics International charges speakers for speaking opportunities. So the everyday tasks include: 1. Invite dignitaries 2. Follow up 3. Calling to follow-up 4. Get them registered Learning only includes persuading people, a bit for social media marketing, SEO and calling skills The work environment depends directly on your performance, if you are able to get registrations the managers will be nice to you with little or no pressure. The managers are nice, organize team parties and occasionally events occur. Transportation is provided for selected areas. Leaves and Salary is provided Hike will be about 3k to 7k per month.

Cons

The company has a structure for fines, if you are unable to get registration you will be fined. The cafeteria of Divyashree buildings is outside office, so you have to eat inside or buy food outside. Mobile phones are strictly not allowed. Work hours are fixed, you have to report office on time. You cannot leave office other than the break hours. You do.not have multiple options in the field of event. Management. So growth is limited. Alternative Saturdays are working.

Pros

I am a program coordinator (PC), and every PC is assigned with a conference with given targets (to bring revenue in US Dollar) every month. It requires ones' smart work with great convincing power rather than hard work which can only help to achieve the goal. They give good amount of incentives on reaching the targets but it all depends on Team Leaders and Managers because they put such high amount of target for the PC that is very difficult to reach.

Cons

After my 11 months of experience I can only conclude that this is the worst company to work in with no good environment. The company hardly follows any basic rules and treat very badly with the employees and even guards have the right to implement rules on program coordinator. No respect no appreciation, and the most important thing beside fine policy is that manager also hold salary of the employee for not reaching targets. In 12 months you can only only get 12 sick leaves where you can only avail by showing doctor's prescription. My school was better than this company. I am trying to ending up writing here because the company has several cons which will never ends.
