Pros
Good people in terms of the editors, anyway. Clever and kind, which is rare. Good remote culture. WFH was really nice, leaves never an issue. Good processes. Training was solid. Good work-life balance.
Cons
I was in the company for less than a year. I made it through the lay offs, but the stress was too much, too soon - they basically make you apply (yes, with your resume, an assessment and an interview) for your own job again. I was not laid off myself, but I do not like that kind of stress so soon in a new job or seeing coworkers I have just gotten to know get fired, and it was clear that this 'restructuring' (as they called it) was more or less an annual process (rather than, say, every 3-5 years), so I left. If it wasn't for that, this would have been one of the best jobs of my life. Oh, and there was no career growth. Obviously.
