Pros

Good workplace, benefits are good, transport, free lunch. Good pay.

Cons

Very poor talent management No strategic planning, Employees are being laid off from 2013 to till date. On the other hand company is hiring new people who are experienced in agile and other stuff. Why can't the organisation create and develop the talent with the existing team members than recruiting new people. No job security at all, anything can happen at any time. I am glad I quit target before the lay off drama began. I was in testing Coe, and some of the managers had knowledge of 8th grade kid. Bad thing was they were laid off very late. I wished target wiped these dumb managers before wiping the real good resources. Target used to take contractors to work in MPLS and all the contractors knew only to fill their weekly time sheets. When so many good team members were available in target india, Target always sent zero domain knowledge contractors to Mpls. I used to be so proud of target, but after seeing what my friends and experienced peers gone through during layoff, I am so happy I quit target and found a better job .
