Pros

The Indian arm of Fidelity Investments gets huge support from the US, hence you have greater transparency with the organization. Very good compensation scales and equal pay according to your grade, which is very rarely seen. A variety of benefits like insurance cover, meal card worth 1150 every month, flexible timing, free transport, work from home option, good leave policy.

Cons

If you get offered as a Java/Fullstack developer role and the hiring BU is Asset Management, and you decide to get onboard, congratulations, you will ruin your career. After you join, they will ask you to do testing also. According to them a fullstack developer is the one who does backend development+automation testing+manual testing. And that too, the tools used are a decade old. No scope outside, no use of anything as whatever you learn will not help you in the future for other companies. Very toxic work environment, no work life balance. Often you will end up staying till late night. Very short and strict deadlines. They will also make you work in L2 support, in the weekends, you have to attend to bug fixes. Yes think many times before you join this BU.

Pros

I joined this company reading the same reviews like most of them do in here but probably the biggest mistake of my career to have done except a few. And those few are the pros: - Gurukool sessions - Good quality work - Good transport facilities - Great marketing of own brand - Good leave policy

Cons

After I quit the company, I realized how come there are so many good reviews about this company. Then I realised probably they're the ones who never had any work in the company during work-hrs - no work-life balance, Managers will tell u upfront to work till 16 hrs a day and shout at you in front of everyone ( ask u to do development during day time and Prod support at night) - improper performance review, biased and politically influenced - Ethics helpline is just a gimmick, there is blatant favoritism etc - HR is a puppet who are mere slaves of managers/directors - BAD BAD COMPENSATION: Bonus is HEAVILY included in the CTC and they'll eat away all you own money - They'll give a huge chunk like 50K as transportation which U wont get upto even a penny if u dont opt for (good for far flung commuters) - NO TAX saving options in salary and U get MEAGRE take-home (the company earns keeping all ur money in their own FDs) - Medical Benefits/Hospitalization is only upto 1 lac/a where in a part of premium is deducted from ur salary too (My current org gives upto 3 lacs covering even in laws paying complete premium)

Pros

Great Company Excellent CEO - Does everything she can to take care of employees The best organization wide culture Lots of benefits like matching NPS contribution, free cab, free Wi-Fi, WFH, internet allowance

Cons

I worked at Fidelity in multiple BUs and teams. Finally moved to FBT (Brokerage Technology) and the nightmare started. If you hear FBT or NextGen or Platform Services then please avoid this organization for your own good. The culture is even worse than service based companies. Few folks in the team micromanage to the next level. They will ping you on teams/whatsapp at 12am-1am asking to do things while they themselves are unavailable throughout the day. The team is filled with inexperienced, arrogant freshers who tend to show that they know everything. You will spend most of your time correcting others mistakes or hand holding juniors. They make you work till late nights, weekends and during appraisal will only point out random things and give you single digit increment. They do have several reporting mechanisms but since the team is mostly filled with freshers they do not report anything to senior management in fear. There is lot of favouritism, even if you join, there are couple of people in the team who would be appreciated even for reaching the office while you doing the toughest job will be brushed under the rug. Tech stack is very basic, in 3 months you will learn pretty much everything and then it is an endless loop of doing the same thing over and again.
