Pros

above market salary to trap you into a bad environment

Cons

Reporting to an immature & inexperienced monkey is the worst danger at flipkart If you are joining the company, (1) Find out the names of all the folks that interviewed you and look up their Linkedin profiles - one of them will be your hiring manager. Ask yourself if you really want to report to the guy (2) Reject the first offer letter saying designation is not correct. They will get back in a couple of weeks with a revised designation. Extremely unprofessional trying to under-level you (3) Ask for the organizational structure and find out who are your peers (if they are a decade less experienced than you they are probably immature and you will have issues) and also how long they have been in the grade Net-net: if you have 10+ years of experience and have worked in professional companies, Flipkart is an 'avoid'. There are better companies out there. This is not a MNC but a 'lalla' indian company

analytics - data pulls

Pros

- free food - high pay (but mostly because they hire at 1.2 Compa ratio or close. For example if Sr Analyst midpoint or 1 CR is 14 LPA fixed, they will pay 16.5 LPA and get you in. So pay package is artifically high and there no hikes thereafter) - no PF so higher take home - centrally located office

Cons

- analytics is all data pulls. The analytics team is just a reporting/data pull team - immature leadership across company. So you have kids of the same age both Sr analyst or director (if they are friends of bansals) - this means you have to work with immature ppl and pull data all the time - managers and directors in analytics are not hands-on and just play politics to survive and impress senior people - no learning - outdated tools - moreover company is doing ED probe. Feel like working for a tainted company. Company not transparent
