Pros

1. Met great peers- you know how they say sharing acute stress keeps people together? Thanks to that or the shared stockholm syndrome. 2. Unsure of their leadership skills but they're definitely brilliant theatre artists- just watch how they'll brush this review off as a scorned ex employee or competitors 'trying' to defame them. Emphasis on the 'trying' bit because you don't even have to try to defame them- they're unapologetically ruthless. 3. Definitely flexible with their working hours. Have to give this to them. It can be 20 hours all 7 days in whatever format you'd like. Guaranteed. The rest of the day (4-5 hours), you're 'allowed' to sleep or even consider having a life. Oh and the privilege of the occasional Sunday offs! Never felt luckier. 5. Great PR- The most manipulative award goes to them: How they made it look like they hardly indulged in lay offs, how they actually laid off everyone but called it a 'change in business model' how paycuts were actually not paycuts but change in salary structure, how they paid A WHOLE WEEK'S COMPENSATORY PAY for employees they admitted that they laid off. 6. Devoted to fascism- never seen leaders be more dedicated to the cause. 'Doors are always open'. 'Flat structure' 'No hierarchy'. Sure. If you're good at surrendering yourself to them. Multiple layers of leaders passing fascism down as the go to culture for increased productivity. They don't shy away from using derogatory language, humiliating and abusing their employees. You are expected to show up to work even if your father had passed away just an hour ago.

Cons

Despite a review like this, the fascism will continue and employees will continue to be enslaved to them.

Pros

1. People around you are friendly. 2. Office space is nice.

Cons

1. Extremely long procedures to carry a single easy task which delays and lead to longer time completion. 2. Lazy managerial responses. 3. No authority in the first place to resolve the issues unless they become escalations. 4. No job security. 5. A designer is be judged by the sales target he is achieving rather than its sense of design and presentation. 6. Not a good place to learn new intricacies of design and explore the new dimensions of it. 7. No loyalty towards employees. 8. Unfair opportunity distribution. 9. No set bar for salary according to the position. A less knowledgable and inexperienced person can get more salary than the more experienced and knowledgeable person depending upon the past salary slip. 10. The incentive is only in the papers just to negotiate the salaries with the candidate. Don't fall for it. 11. Frequent change in operations and company policies which led to uncertainties to one's responsibilities in the middle of the tenure. 12. Introduction to the New Studio model in May 2020 within the company, carrying the layoff of the complete design team silently(being in public news) and seeking the service at a lesser price by appointing the same designers as an independent consultant for work on a shorter span less than 3 months in order to complete the ongoing projects.

Unpaid Design Partners

Pros

Livspace allows for flexible work timings for design partners. Sadly I have not been paid since March for work that has been completed on two projects.

Cons

My partner and I had started working at Livspace, as design partners, from January and we have not been paid for our work since March. We have worked on two projects and have not been paid for both. The Unprofessional unconcerned attitude displayed by the manager and community manager, when we repeatedly through the months expressed our concerns about not receiving the money, is honestly shameful. Every month each one would come up with a new excuse as to why we haven't received our payments yet. We are still getting no positive response from the responsible people of this organisation regarding payments that are due to us.
