Pros

If you are really smart and want to take a break from your career & work, you can have a nice time and relax here, as there is substandard, technically incapable, easy to fool, clueless and vision-less management who likes to pretend that they are doing something important for the company.

Cons

"Can you handle politics?" is an actual interview question in this organization. So the rest is self-explanatory. This organization survives and thrives on absence of intellect and personal vendetta politics. Right from the start you will be lured into useless conversations for the management to guess, if you can be moulded to be aligned with their petty thought process to drive their politics. Keep your brains at home when you come to office as you won't be allowed to use it. Independent thinking is something which is totally frowned upon and slowly but surely steps are taken to kill your independent thought process and replace it with useless nonsense for the management to drive their agenda. This organisation has lost many good resources who did not agree. Its quite obvious, how they were influenced/asked/forced to leave. It’s a no-brainer that why has this organization @Bangalore has not shown any credible piece of work or any valuable digital asset which could enable and drive the transformation of the company in the right direction. If you work hard to show some credible work, do not be surprised if your credit gets stolen and used by your immediate superiors for their promotions and personal gains. This is how the leadership thrives. This work is done very craftily and shrewdly and you will get advised of not being proactive on showcasing your work at the right time. Your immediate superiors, who by now are aligned with the leadership will try their best and go to any extent to support and justify any wrong-doings of the management. Actually that’s the reason they have been kept/promoted at those positions. So the whole setup is very well planned and a lot of time is dedicated on a daily basis to plan it out and keep this charade running smoothly. By mistake if you think the HRs will help you, you are in for more nasty surprises. Doing a job here does not require any technical skills which you might have taken years to perfect. The only 2 skills you need to have are: "how to maintain personal relations" with leadership and "how to shift blame on others" at times of crisis. Reorgs are very frequent as the non-aligned people need to move-out and you can see the game of musical chair being played at an organization level. Rest everything is awesome. Enjoy the free food and free cab service during your duration at Maersk. Good Luck !!!

Pros

Great organization. Great Ethical values.

Cons

A mid-level manager at a new center in India invites all team members @home for a drink & dinner to say "please do not escalate, talk to me if you have any problems or issues.". And exhibits biases, racism, sarcastic comments, favoritism on the office floor. Definitely not a Maersk-guy...... because Maersk is all about ethical values.

Pros

Subsidy on office cafeteria food. Cab facility.

Cons

Unqualified leaders, surviving in industry only by boot-licking. Worst, incapable, unfit for the position, substandard, damaging General Managers. Talented engineers and managers are leaving the organisation. General Manages and Engineering Managers are the hooligans; they don't even hesitate to use foul abusive insulting language to their employees. Very tactically managers fire the employees who stand against their opinions and abusive languages. Managers scare their employees saying that they have power to fire anyone. GMs, EMs, Architects no one is interested in technology, they don't have any vision. As managers and architects lack technical acumen, they can't even understand standard technical work; don't even think of appreciation; only bootlickers and show-off people get appreciation and promotion. With such incapable people, quality of work is extremely poor. One has to be either incapable or boot-licker to survive and make progress in this company. Qualified engineers don't deserve such incapable, ineligible, incompetent managers. Managers also don't want to hire talented, skilled engineers as they are also aware of their own quality and ego issues. HR know everything about such toxic environment. Every other day they get complaints about managers from employees, but they have no power to take any action against managers. They are puppet to these hooligans.
