One aspect that I feel could be improved is the difference in compensation and benefits offered to employees based on their hiring channel. Employees hired through campus programs at IITs/NITs and those hired through the All India Hiring process often work on similar projects, take on comparable responsibilities, and contribute equally to the organization's success. However, there can be noticeable differences in compensation and certain benefits.
While I understand that hiring strategies may vary, a more uniform approach that recognizes performance, impact, and contributions over the long term would help foster a stronger sense of fairness and inclusivity. Ensuring that employees with similar roles and responsibilities are rewarded equitably can further strengthen morale, motivation, and collaboration across teams.
Apart from this concern, my overall experience at Meesho has been highly positive, with great learning opportunities, supportive colleagues, and exposure to cutting-edge technology.
