SBS, Shared business services is awful place, no Over time pay but you have to work, you have to work on weekends without any pay, food is pathetic as local managment takes their cut from vendor so the vendor gives bad food. Insane favourtism and regionalism, no growth if you speak up about what's happening wrong and how local team makes big loses for the company. Other divisons are awesome to work but bangalore is like a call center. All managers hired also from call centers so they make an excellent company into BPO

Cons

There are so many. Some of them are as follows: 1) No standard guideline for promotion! I have seen people not getting promoted despite excellent performance. It all boils down to your proximity to managment! 2) In the name of "Women in Leadership", management is disproportionately promoting mediocre performers to TLs or supervisors. 3) They talk about 360 degree feedback but stopped receiving feedback for managers. 4) Too much of internal politics! The IJP and selection process is not transparent. 5) Existing employees are not being valued. In terms of compensation, there is a huge gap between the market and the package offered to existing employees. 6) few of the mid level managers are so insecure that they keep hiding your performance from the senior management to highlight their achievements. 7) This SBS center is gradually becoming a shelter for mediocre and mundane activites, and a dumping ground for the stakeholders! No challenges no growth!

• We get around 40 paid leaves per year as per revised policies • Unlimited Work from anywhere option • Provides Child care facility with 100% reimbursement • Freedom to switch to different roles based on our interest and skills • Very transparent management team • Transport facility and food provided at very low cost • Encourages more women employees especially for leadership roles • Flexible timings

Cons

• Initially shift timings were difficult to balance personal life. But then got flexibility to change to general shift.
