Pros

There are no pros apart from yearly 1 week off ,that too will depend on team

Cons

This is a typical service based company,ITC is filled with managers from service based company having micro management mindset you have to compulsary in office for 3 days, managers will cry if you take 1 day wfh,if you use your quota of leave managers will behave as you have commited crime, there are long working hours ,even after going to home you will attending meetings all day, looks more like a call center and list will go on and on coming to benefits you won't get any benefit policies from India and us are completely opposite ,they will get summer Friday's off but in India we won't, you will get 40% off on products ,but you have to search through tidy Excel and you will never get the product, you will never get any goodies list will go on and on

Bad Leadership in India

Pros

Association with a big brand name is a great pro of working at Nike. People knows Nike and you don't need to explain what the company does. You'll get a lot of sneakers at discounted price. If you're a sports fan, you'll love the overall culture.

Cons

Most of the benefits that were intended for employees are taken away. The food and transport is not free, and is less than average quality. Your check-in and check-out time is monitored. If you opt for Nike's transportation, you need to work from office during specific hours, and can't leave early even if you want to, while others will leave whenever the want. The worst part about Nike India is it's management at Director level. Nike somehow managed to get worst directors for India Technology Centre. It doesn't matter in which domain you work, you're going to be working under bad leadership. Some directors are micro managers and others are here just to enjoy their retirement and don't want to work at all. They won't take work and issues seriously. They mostly would be taking credit of others' work. Another issue at Nike is career growth. The good employees are never promoted here. Promotions are given to only manager praisers. The work culture thus is very bad here. Great folks keep leaving the company.. and the ones who are left are either not getting job outside, or are too comfortable at the company since they don't have to work much here anyways. You also don't get any freedom to raise your voice. If you make some post on any channel against the leadership, or any policy changes, you're asked to immediately remove the message. If you reach out to HR, they in turn will reach out to your manager, and there will be definite retaliation. Complete HR department is also being run by the Directors, so whatever you speak to them, will reach to your directors.

Pros

Competitive salary. Opportunity to learn industry leading technologies.

Cons

Completely driven from US. Indian managers don't have any decision making authority. Lot of politics.
