Pros

Team members are really good

Cons

1) Higher management will Fire some Directors just to hide their mistakes and not interested in knowing what has gone wrong. This shows their inefficiency. 2) Program Management is just a proxy of Client. If Client need a feature in 1 day, you have to deliver it. Even if it 1.00AM they don't hesitate to ask to work. You have to give it. 3) They took the advantage of COVID lockdown and cut all employees appraisals. And saying it as a conservative measures. Till March 3rd week they said appraisal is there. 1 week after lock down, they said we are not giving appraisal. 2) Employees are not valued, They are just resource count. 1,2,3... 3) Overtime due to immediate delivery but no compensation 4) Work From Home has become a nightmare. Earlier we had a boundary between personal & professional life. With COVID 19, there are no boundaries. 4) They even ask you to work until 1.00AM if deliveries are there, and never think this is Home not their office. 5) If you are Bachelor/Staying alone with COVID19 WFH option, you can't balance Work & cooking. Most of the time you will not eating properly.

Pros

Good CTC, WFH , work life balance

Cons

1. nothing new to learn. 2. Growth is limited 3. Ready for layoff at any time, yearly 3 times layoff 4. Some of the managers do layoff to satisfied their personal ego this is very ridiculous. 4. Even higher management also not listening even if you inform them. 5. In case if you resigned then leave it and join better organisation, Don't influence with retainsiom trap from respective manager. If you take your paper back then respective manager will put down that Candidate name in layoff list and remove him in next layoff cycle. 6. HR's are manager friendly. 7. Managers are actually not fit for manager role.

Pros

HR policies are transparent and not much red tape on things. HR is not very active but then does not unnecessarily bother with things. Decent leaves and pay.

Cons

Some teams in NXP Bangalore UWB group have one of the worst politics and work culture. In last 2 years, I have seen things take turn for bad. Work life balance seems to be consideration only for Europe/US teams. US teams try to dominate the Indian teams and work pressure is too high. It is not uncommon to have a call at 11 PM or even at 12 AM. Some managers are really bad and take no responsibility of well being of their employees. All their focus is to impress their US and European heads. They don't care if you work for 12 hours a day, they would still be dissatisfied and use you as scapegoat before management in US/Europe.
