Must Read for RBS, Gurgaon

Pros

Pros: Employee facilities like Cab, Food are excellent. RBS itself is a great organization. Company building is also very good. They understand their social responsibilities and support charities.

Cons

Cons: 1. Once you join, hikes are very less. People get average 4% hike yearly. So it is very important that one should be aware of the cost of living in Gurgaon and do not let RBS HR fool you with a lower package, while joining the company. Because that will be the salary you have to survive for the entire time, you will spend in RBS. 2. All the work is done by Software designers in this gurgaon office and they are not paid any bonuses if not in the favorite list. Promotions are impossible to get. 3. If you are into development, settle for the minimum CTC = (your years of experience * 2.25). This is because whether you work for say 2 or 4 years - yearly appraisals like 2.5%, 4%, 3% will not increase your joining CTC much and you need to survive and maintain your living standards. Also to compensate for all the hard work you will be doing without any promotions and meager hikes. 4. They will ask developers to also do support activities on weekends without any extra pay.
