Pros
Good brands, amazing NYC office
Cons
Everything else....the management here couldn't care less about its employees - the people, humans who come to put in work every day. You will never hear Pernod Ricard's management say it's people are its greatest asset or that it values its people - it doesn't. There is no sense of community, team, trust, security at Pernod Ricard. It's a cold, European-run company. If you are a white straight man, you'll move to the top fast. If you aren't, well you'll have to work 300Xs harder just to be noticed. Constant restructures. Don't let anyone tell you it's behind us. We've heard that through at least four restructures in as many years. Promotions and layoffs are not based on merit. They'll fire someone, tell them they don't have a place for them, and open up a position with the same exact title and responsibilities the next day. HR is useless and powerless 'Better Balance' or what most companies call diversity and inclusion is not about diversity or inclusion at all. It's about protecting the European men who run this company. The company does not know how to build great brands. It's a sales-driven organization.
