      Chennai Petrofac is more of a back office to Engineering centre at Sharjah.

      Pros

      I switched to Petrofac for better pay since competitor companies offer less.

      Cons

      Chennai office is run like family business. Wards of senior staff find their way into the company. Professionalism is a bad idea here. Favouritism is the order of the day. Technical competence comes only next to proximity to your boss. I find this company 10 years back in age in terms of infrastructure and capability. Single boss for the office who calls all the shots to the extent of even deciding how a chair is to be placed. Job satisfaction is still elusive.

      Pros

      Responsibility is given to people even at lesser experience based on performance. Lot's of projects and future of the company is looking very bright..

      Cons

      Lack of middle level executives with proper experience and ability to lead teams... Other than that I find petrofac is an excellent place to take your career higher.

      Nothing to say. Just a myth.

      Cons

      I got demobilized from the project within 2 weeks i joined. Poor quality of manforce requirement prediction. Eventhough i was joined as a permanent employee got redundant notification in 1 month of my joining. Where is your plannin?
