Pros

One of the biggest positives of working at Philips is the leadership. I've had encounters with middle management and senior leadership and all has been kind, honest and helpful. The remote work is led well and they provide lots of onboarding, training and tools to make you successful in what you do. Philips is focused on change management and something that was important to me in my next role.

Cons

Downsides for working at Philips would be the training is intense when it comes to SES side of the technology business. The company takes their role in healthcare and patient care very seriously which is a positive for me but for others it may be too intense of a start.

Pay isn't great but corporate benefits are generous - pension, maternity, retirement programmes etc

Cons

Like many large organisations its very multifaceted so processes can be painstakingly slow with far too many points of contact. There is a lot of talk about LEAN but in reality change is implemented often but with very little impact. Innovation is a buzz word not a corporate value. Senior management lacks diversity and career paths are limited. NO budget for socials so lacked engagement

Appalling senior management. Appalling leadership, Tolerant of racism and misogyny. People were given opportunities becuase they had a special relationship with the director and not based on experience and capability.

None, absolutely none. This company has zero redeeming qualities.

Cons

Management : management openly tells staff to violate Manufactures PM instructions, when confronted they state that the customer wants it that way, they backtracked immediately Blatant violation of federal law : several coworkers and I were threatened with termination for discussing pay, which is illegal. Blatant favoritism : Management has clear favorites who incorrectly perform PMs, nothing is done and they openly brag about being able to get away with anything. Zero accountability : when these issues were brought to HR and senior management, nothing was done.
