      If getting paid to play on your cell phone all shift is your thing.

      Cons

      Way overstaffed. Upper Mgmt is nothing but overpaid relatives, who take weekly vacations, that they write off as business trips. Check out the company facebook & LinkedIn. They never "work". They blow through money hand over fist. Company tripled in staff almost over night, as a front to make their operations look busy & legit. While the truth is, they are involved in illegal practices through their Mexico operations! Beware and steer clear of this shady family run company.

      Pros

      I've been working for RJ Logistics 2 years full time and it has been an overall fantastic experience. The management team is always looking for ways to improve and grow, encouraging staff to share their ideas, and isn't down your neck. Hard work goes noticed here and for those who show they want it to get recognized and rewarded. During the COVID crisis, I stayed employed and was always encouraged to come up with any ideas as far as marketing efforts by my upper management. All my ideas were listened to and speculated for trial. I've grown very close to all the people I work with and many of the team members got involved with after-work activities with one another (prior to COVID). I'm beyond happy with my time spent at RJ Logistics and I'm looking forward for the future! - Lay back work environment - Live by the "Work hard, play hard" motto - Lots of opportunity for growth and growth is always encouraged - Overall positive upper management with the "can-do" attitude

      Cons

      - Since it is the logistics industry, things can tend to get pretty intense during busy periods/when there are lots of shipments to cover - but that is standard across all industries

      Favoritism Unorganized in Management Obnoxious Accounting Team Head of Contracted Freight Team can break KPI's and rules Head of Spot Freight Team can do whatever they like Unorganized Training No direction for Sales on Carrier end Having informal meetings that discuss restrictions but never addressing Why in person Weaponizing Remote Time despite being a hybrid position, where you can clearly do the work remote.
