Pros

Number of leaves is best in industry. Policies are favorable to employees. Flexi work hours.

Cons

Very inefficient and Incompetent senior management in Gemalto/Thales Noida. Some of Directors along with Noida center head only spend time running politics. They never take ownership of any failures because they don't have time for projects but only dirty politics, and will put all blame on team members who are not part of their group. Most of Senior Managemt is unqualified, untrained in management philosophy and act like typical goons in their one to one meetings with individuals. Lots of favouritism and groupism, only those are prospering here who lick the feet of their bosses. You will be successful if your current boss knows you from some previous project or organization and if you had been seeking his well wishes since previous days, irrespective of your poor performance and incompetence. Merit has no meaning here for majority of Directors. Just bow down while greeting the Noida center head and you're good. This all has happened in past 1-2 years only after Thales acquiring Gemalto. French people always have an upper hand, most of them promoted to extremely high positions without experience in handling R&D. They treat India software engineers as just workers or labours, and fire them without reasons.

Narcissist Noida Directors

Pros

You can flourish here just by buttering or Knowing RSA full form or how to install oracle on a single machine and preparing unnecessary confluence pages. You can learn top technical skills on companies expenditure. You can work with industries on top of mind if involved with US-based teams. Be an excellent flatterer and move to the US within a year or two. Shabby Tester/Developer with good flattery can get a promotion every year even promoted to directors with 7 years of zero know-how experience.

Cons

When you talk to some directors about anything they will start presenting themself as a role model. 99% of Noida-based Directors and managers are without basic knowledge of companies core work area. The director's favorite time pass is to change everyone's sitting arrangement every quarter. They are hiring the crap from the current market at a high price and losing their in-house talent due to favoritism caused by flattery.

Pros

- Projects are good and interesting. - Good learning to get versatile over multiple skills

Cons

- No work life balance. - Unrealistic deadlines set for the targets which pressures the resources to work day and night as well as on weekends without compensation. - Poor work culture. - Improper leadership - Inexperienced Managers/Leads Who are not able to handle the team hence they pressurize the whole team. Positions are just filled internally without checking proper eligibility for the designation. - No time for any additional exploration since we run after deadline every single day. - Not great salary compensation or hikes or promotion compared with other product companies. - More preference given to clients/customers feedback rather than working employees.
