Pros

Hope Compnay is good if you are not from the IT background - Not much work -Salary credits on time -This company is good for guys who like to settle here even there is no growth and OK are any rule that HR changes. Rules change often according to the HR's mindset not for employee benefit.

Cons

-Pathetic Management,They don't even consider the employees issues even it it is serious and taken to them. -Wow a big applause to HR department they treat you like a school kid,Don't even know the expectations of IT guy. -Women employees please stay away , they wont even consider your issues personally or officially -And for freshers , your future will be screwed, there is no road map for freshers. -How good your are in your specific domain you knowledge will be degraded because of lack of the technical work they provide. -expecting for a promotion, it will be given only when there is a opportunity arises in team no matter how experienced your are, and new joiners will get a better roles with less experience -worthless Manager and a Team lead without any technical stuff, expect you to deliver baby in a day. -Be there exactly at 8.30 one second delay will cost u absent for a whole day. Many more but not interested to expose all of the pathetic things.I am a victim of those drawbacks ,got frustrated and came out of the company after many struggle. Last but not least beware of the bonds they ask you to sign.(More often it is likely to happen) Over all if your are from IT background please stay away how good they offer you if your are concerned about your career growth and development

Pros

Brand name Opportunity to learn new things

Cons

Everything about the company is a con. No work life balance, fake promises at the time of interview, no job security. Contract people are treated like slaves - no respect, no say in any of the matters, no rights. Worst politics I have ever seen. Even senior managers & Managing directors are fired on the spot for no reason. Women employees are denied right for maternity leave which is total acceptable. A friend of mine have been working with Valeo for 19 months now. Today she informed her manager that she is pregnant and will eventually need maternity leave after 5 - 6 months. She was asked to resign because "they can not afford employees taking leaves". If you have dignity left, do not join this organisation.

Valeo Response

This comment doesn't reflect reality as Valeo Pune Site's attrition (employee turnover) is lower than the market and is reaching 0% in the HR department! The Group policy against discrimination is strong and clear and there are no denials for any benefits related to women going on maternity leave. There are no reported case such as the one being described here.

Pros

- Brand Name - Good Pay - Acceptable Infrastructure - Learning opportunity

Cons

- Manager - HR - Policies that won't fit the IT business and culture - No proper road map - Even the smallest decisions get delayed and prolonged as in Government offices. - Employees not treated professionally by higher management and HR - No proper project management - Frequent termination of employees, even the good performing ones just because of grudge that management has.
