I will genuinely share my experience here post which if you still decide to join this firm then all the best.. 1. I joined Vashi as L&D head, while joining they had commited me that as of now 6 days working however "VERY SOON" they are gonna adapt 5 days working culture. This is a lie, post joining it was brought to my notice that this is commited to all at that time of the interview since atleast 6 years. 2. I was hired for Navi Mumbai and in interview everyone commited me that I will be based out in Navi Mumbai however post joining I was told that my base location is Bhiwandi and not Navi Mumbai. I had to literally beg to get my location changed yet nothing worked. Then I decided to quit the firm within a week of joining n worte a mail to the CEO (Mr. Suraj Dodeja). He then promised me that things with be changed and then my location was changed forcefully. 3. Post point no 3 things got further worsen cos after that my boss started literally torchering me. She even many times asked me to quit and they will be happy if I move out. She even mentioned that she wanted person for Bhiwandi location however mistakenly hired someone from Navi Mumbai. ( Imagine, this company can play with your career and call it their mistake) 4. After surviving point 3, I was still standing firm to prove my work n point. However, being into Learning and development I was given zero tasks of learning and development. The work that was alloted to me was nothing above daily office work. For e.g. Managing vendors, calling RMs and checking their height and weight, coordinating for daily induction session for 22 days induction schedule, etc. Whatever you have learned into learning and development will just need to keep in a bag and continue doing non relatable work. 5. This is a family oriented business and founders, directors, CEO, COO all are family members. They will always keep watching you and your activities (even monitor CCTV). On the 3rd day of joining the founder had seen me using my cell phone. He called me to his cabin and asked me to show my productivity for 3 days since I joined! In vashi you are nothing more than just a employee. You will feel you have no powers to your destination as all power ultimately lies at family members.
