The event was attended by Jayanta Guha, Senior Director - India, Capgemini, and Kumar Anurag Pratap, Vice President and CSR Head - India, Capgemini, marking the commencement of a program designed for measurable outcomes and lasting independence. Our initiative aims to support 630 PwD youth (with 50% representation of women) in Kolkata and Bangalore over three years. Participants will benefit from industry-driven digital training, career development assistance, and organized employment pathways, targeting a 70% placement rate in inclusive workplaces. This program represents a transition from education to livelihood, transforming progress into real impact.
Our journey to expand access to digital careers continues with the launch of our Digital Academy in Kolkata in partnership with ARWS and EduBridge, strengthening our efforts to widen access to future-ready skills. The center was launched with Purvi Thakkar, Location Head for Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar and Vice President, Business Services - India, Capgemini, Neesat Rana, Vice President and Delivery Head for BSv Indigo - India, Capgemini; and Kumar Anurag Pratap, Vice President and CSR Head - India, Capgemini, reflecting leadership alignment around skilling with purpose. Designed as a hub for practical learning, the academy will train thousands of learners over the next three years, combining technical courses with placement-linked outcomes to drive sustainable livelihoods.
