Johnson Controls has partnered with the Aahwahan Foundation for the launch of a medical mobile unit 'Health on Wheels'. The 'Health on Wheels' initiative is an innovative solution that provides medical services to individuals who are unable to receive proper medical care due to financial limitations. The mobile unit will travel across Bangalore, with a doctor, nurse, pathology staff, and helper onboard. They are trained to recognize symptoms of health-related ailments, conduct a basic diagnosis of common diseases, prescribe medication, and more. Johnson Controls has made a one-time contribution of $56,790 to fund the operation of the mobile unit, which also houses dental care, eye care, and laboratory facilities on board.
Rajarshi Datta, Head of Sales at Johnson Controls India, was recently invited to participate as a panelist in the Confederation of Indian Industry Green Conclave on the topic “Evolution of ESG as a Value Creator for India Inc". Rajarshi shared the importance of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) disclosures, and steps organizations can take to embrace sustainability initiatives. He also emphasized the importance of customer centricity and incorporating ESG culture in the organization.
