We are so thrilled to Celebrate Women's day at Reckitt Mysore. We salute the strength, resilience, and the unbeatable spirit of all the women work with us. We are committed to ensure more inclusive eco system wherein they can thrive up to their best potential.
In this journey of people/numbers/brands and so much more... a year in the heart of North East, a few months in Lucknow and a few in Varanasi... Malivka has had the opportunity to interact with some truly inspiring ladies. These are the conversations where we address the lack of representation in one part of the country and ample support in another, the challenges faced and overcome. A starting point for providing tangible opportunities for women to excel in sales. Malvika shares her firsthand experience of how being part of such a platform can be a learning opportunity - how to tackle micro aggressions or how many have/continue doing, their bit in eroding unconscious biases. We set the stage for a workplace where everyone thrives. đŒđȘ
Diversity encourages acceptance and respect. This means understanding that everyone is unique and recognises individual differences yet acknowledges the value of each individual.
Reckitt really empowered me to create that difference.â Our first female Zonal Sales Manager in India, Hinaâs paving the way for more women to become sales professionals.
This International Womenâs Day we are celebrating some of the role models at Reckitt who inspire inclusion and who go above and beyond their job to contribute to a truly inclusive workplace. We asked some our role models to share their thoughts, feelings and ambitions for the impact we can all have in helping create a more inclusive work environment for everyone.
The Harpic's â#BeFreeToPeeâ campaign is a testament to our commitment to helping consumers with solutions to all their bathroom and toilet problems. As we embark on this to initiate conversations around unspoken challenges faced by many women in India, we urge you all to join us by using the âHarpic Loocatorâ app and rate the toilets around you, helping women make safe and informed choices. We also call upon like-minded partners to join us on this path to create a formidable impact. We know it will be a long road ahead & we are just getting started. No doubt that this is going to be India's century, our century :)
Leap year and a Leap of Trust At Reckitt, trust is the foundation of our relationships, itâs a journey we embark on everyday. Anchored by our guiding principle, âDo the right thing, always,â we're committed to nurturing trust in our interactions with all our stakeholders. The compelling benefits of high-trust work environments are evident: a remarkable 74% reduction in stress levels, a staggering 106% increase in energy, 50% higher productivity, 13% fewer sick days, a remarkable 76% boost in engagement, 29% greater life satisfaction, and a notable 40% reduction in burnout rates. These statistics underscore the importance of our forward-thinking approach as we anticipate how trust shapes our present and future interactions. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting an invigorating Trust Workshop led by our esteemed colleagues, Peter Edwards and Lydia Maranta, from the Global Communications & External Affairs Team. During this engaging workshop, we delved deep into the dynamics of trust-building within the unique landscape of the Indian market. Through thought-provoking discussions and interactive sessions, we explored innovative strategies to strengthen trust drivers and foster meaningful connections with our stakeholders.
We all depend on the community workers who keep our society safe and clean, but how often do we appreciate their efforts? They face many risks, including the risk of exposure to mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria and chikungunya. Thatâs why Mortein, one of the most well-known brands in pest control, has launched a new ad film in India under its #MorteinKiRakshaJyoti campaign, to express gratitude to the caregivers of the society. The film urges us to extend the âRaksha Jyotiâ to them and protect them from harmful mosquitoes with Mortein Liquid Vaporisers. Watch the film here and join us in saying thank you to the community workers who protect us every day. Letâs protect those who protect us. #ThisIsReckitt #ReckittIndia #MorteinKiRakshaJyoti
Dettol Hygieia: The Smart and Fun Way to Learn Hygiene As part of the Dettol Banega Swasth India program, Reckitt India is excited to launch Dettol Hygieia, a mobile game that makes learning about cleanliness engaging and fun for children and teenagers. Inspired by the Greek goddess of healing, the game challenges young minds to explore different environments and defeat germs with the power of handwashing. Dettol Hygieia covers the 5 pillars of hygiene: personal, home, school, neighborhood, and illness. It merges entertainment with education to underscore the significance of hygiene and personal health. Dettol Hygieia was unveiled at the Jaipur Literature Festival by Mr Amitabh Kant, Former CEO of the NITI Aayog. It is part of Reckittâs vision to reach millions of young minds across India with the right information and habits. Dettol Hygieia is more than a game; itâs a journey to a healthier and smarter society. Itâs a pledge to bring hygiene education to the remotest corners of the country. By launching this game, we're aligning with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, specifically focusing on 'ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages' (SDG 3) and 'ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education' (SDG 4). Are you ready to join the hygiene revolution? Download Dettol Hygieia on Android and start your germ-killing adventure!
We are dedicated to improving gender balance in science, both within our organization and throughout the research and development community. We acknowledge the unique challenges that women face in the scientific world and are determined to provide support not only to women at Reckitt, but to all women across the scientific community. Continuing with the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, of course we asked our own Women in STEM to share some challenges to demystify societal stereotypes and expectations to encourage more women to pursue a career in the field of STEM. Here's what they said.
