Happy Women’s Day! Here’s a throwback to one of our D&I initiatives towards gender diversity, in August 2022, where we launched a programme called the ‘Revolut Ira Scholarship’. Some of the brightest minds from the top five prestigious business schools in India participated in this selection process, and we announced the first ever group of Revolut Ira Scholars! A programme focused on encouraging talented young women of today to help them become the leaders of tomorrow.
Around 80% of the Indian workforce reported mental health issues during 2021, but around 39% of them didn’t take steps to manage their symptoms due to the societal stigma around mental health. As part of our mental health awareness campaign called “Time To Talk”, our India CEO, Ms Paroma Chatterjee, shared her thoughts around mental health and the initiatives we’ve taken to help our employees realise the need to take care of their well-being.
